Yes guys, today we'll talk about Tony Stark whose full name is Robert Downey Jr. Friends Robert Downey Jr. is considered to be one of the best and popular actors in the world.

Friends, the journey from being a drug addict to becoming one of Hollywood's most popular actors is very inspiring and exciting.

Downey was born on April 4, 1965, in Manhattan, New York, USA. Downey's father Robert Downey Sr. was a film producer and mother Elsie Ford used to be an actress. Friends, his mother, who had learned acting in childhood and Donnie too started acting well at a very young age.

Downey also had an interest in acting from a very young age. He acted in his first film when he was just 5 years old, the name of that film was Pound (1960). This film was produced by his father only. Apart from this, Downey did small roles in many of his father's films.

Downey's father used to be a drug addict. He used to take a lot of drugs in his life. Seeing the same, Downey's father also started giving drugs to his son Robert Downey, due to which Downey also became a drug addict at a young age. Robert Downey used drugs at just 6 years old which was very harmful to health.

When Donnie was 8 years old, he had become a drug addict. Due to this drug addiction, his childhood life was passing through a lot of difficulties. Meanwhile, due to drug addiction, his parents got divorced and he started living in Los Angeles with his father and he did not quit the drug. When he turned 16, he dropped out of his studies and came back to his mother in New York.

Downey was also arrested several times for his drug addiction. He married Deborah Faulkner in 1992. They married and for a few years they stayed away from many controversies but after some time they had to go to jail again due to taking drugs. When he returned after serving a jail sentence, his wife sent him a notice of divorce. He was arrested several times after that.

This was the biggest difficult time for Downey in his life. In 2004, his life took another turn and he met a girl named Susan Levine. Downey fell in love with the girl and the girl met each other and they got married in 2005.

When Downey did not stop taking drugs even after marriage, his wife Susan Levin got fed up and placed a condition in front of him, telling him "you have to choose between drugs and Suzanne".

Downey chose Susan at that time and slowly started trying to quit drugs and after some time he stopped taking drugs.

After discontinuing drugs, he worked in a lot of films at that time. He played the role of "Charlie Chaplin" in Chaplin in one of his films in 1992. For which he worked hard and learned to play violin and tennis with the left hand.

He also kept a personal teacher for him at that time who helped him learn Chaplin's gait. In this film, he worked very hard for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor, but Al Pacino then won for "Saint of Woman".

Robert Downey's journey so far was fine. In all the films made so far, his observers and his fans were well appreciated and supported him, but Robert Downey was never seen in any blockbuster film. The wait of their loved ones is also over here. When Robert Downey appeared in the 2008 superhit film Iron Man and Tropic Thunder.

In 2007 when Downey was cast as the lead character in the film Iron Man. The Bon Favreau director explained that "Downey Junior was not the first choice, but he understood if one thing could set a character apart.

He had many experiences of his own life in the lead role of that film, Tony Stark". Downey also worked hard for that film and he gained 20 pounds in 5 months. So that it seems that they have the power to make iron.

The Iron Man film was released worldwide on 2 May 2008. The budget of that film was  672 crores and the total of that film earned  2808 crores worldwide, which is a record even today.

The film Iron Man was well received by the audience and met with good talent. Seeing him, Robert Downey and director Favreau decided to make him into the Iron Man series, and after that Downey was also seen in the lead role in Iron Man Two, Iron Man 3 and Avengers series. He has just released another film, Avengers Infinity War. We hope that he will get good success in that film too.
