Shah Rukh Khan is an actor in
Hindi films as well as a producer and television personality. He is also fondly
called the 'King of Bollywood', 'King Khan'. He has worked in films of almost
all genres (romance, drama, comedy, action).
Los Angeles Times described him as the world's biggest movie star. His fans are very much in India as well as abroad. According to a report in 2014, Shah Rukh is the second richest actor in the world. He has 14 Filmfare Awards on his account. His wax statue is also housed in the Madame Tussauds Museum in London.
Shahrukh Khan was born in Delhi. His father's name is Mir Taj Mohammad Khan. His father was from Peshawar, Pakistan. His mother's name is Latif Fatima. He also has an elder sister named Shahnaz Lalrukh and she also lives with Shah Rukh in Mumbai.
While giving information on Twitter, Shah Rukh once said that his father is Pathani and mother Hyderabadi.
Shah Rukh Khan had his early studies at St. Columbus School, Delhi. He joined Hansraj College to complete his undergraduate studies, but most of his time was spent in the Delhi Theater Action Group from where he learned acting tricks under the guidance of theater director Barry John.
After this, he started his
postgraduate studies in Mass Communication from Jamia Milia Islamia but left it
to pursue his acting career.
Shah Rukh has been an actor
whose fans are people of all ages and all classes. Especially, the girls are
very fond of him but despite this Shahrukh has not had an affair or love affair
with anyone.
He has always been loyal to his
wife and loves his family dearly. Shahrukh is married to Gauri who comes from a

Shahrukh's career started in
television. He made his mark in serials like Dil Dariya, Fauji, Circus, and his
film career started with the film 'Deewana' for which he also received the
Filmfare Award for Best Debutant Actor.
At that time the film became a super hit and the same film established Shah Rukh in the Hindi Film Industry.
After this, Shah Rukh never looked back and continued to climb the stairs of
