Biography
Sunidhi Chauhan is not
fascinated by any introduction today. Sunidhi Chauhan is an Indian playback
singer who perform playback vocals in Hindi songs as well as Marathi, Kannada,
Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Bengali, Assamese, Nepali and Urdu.
Sunidhi Chauhan has been awarded many big prizes for her excellent singing. Sunidhi has also established herself as a bold stage performer in her Bollywood career. Sunidhi looks as good as she sings. She is also a fashionista icon. She also made her place in Asia's Top 50 Sexiest Ladies in the year 2013.
Sunidhi was born on 14 August
1983 in Delhi. Sunidhi's father is a small Gujarati artist. Sunidhi's father
inspired her to learn music. She also has a younger sister- Suneha Chauhan.
Sunidhi did her early education
from Blooming Buds Public School Balrampur UP. She then completed her next study
from Greenway Public School Dilshad Garden Delhi.
Sunidhi Chauhan's first marriage was at the age of 18 with choreographer and director Bobby Khan. However, this marriage lasted for only one year. Sunidhi married her second childhood friend and music director Hitesh Sonic on 24 April 2012.
Sunidhi started her career at
the age of just four. Sunidhi participated in many singing based reality shows.
But little Sunidhi's life changed when TV anchor Tabsum saw her singing, and
asked Sunidhi's parents to come to Mumbai.
After this Sunidhi came to
Mumbai and participated in Doordarshan's Singing Based Reality Show 'Meri Awaaz
Suno'. Sunidhi won the show and captured the Lata Mangeshkar Trophy.
At the age of 16, Sunidhi got a stopover in Ram Gopal Varma's film Mast, which was a live-in song. Which proved to be the superhit song of the time. The song received 14 nominations for Sunidhi, out of which Sunidhi received 2 Filmfare Awards 1 J Cine Award and two Star Screen Awards. Along with this, Sunidhi was also awarded the RD Award under the new musical talent search.
Sunidhi has played more than
3000 songs in her journey so far. During this, Sunidhi also judged the
television-based singing reality shows. In which she appeared as a judge in
Indian Idol 5, Indian Idol 6.
